The contradictions of the welfare state and the collectivist, irrationalist morality on which it is based have polarized society and eroded the optimism that so defines the American sense of life. Many Millennials now face a future of economic stagnation with few opportunities to realize their personal dreams. But many are now waking up, and not only to the political and moral fraud of the Obama administration. What they are groping to understand is that the war is not only between statist and individual liberty policies. It is between a morality of achievement, personal responsibility, individual autonomy, and the pursuit of personal happiness versus a morality of failure, dependence, servility, and frustration. Just as the country is ripe for a political revolution, so the culture is ripe for a moral revolution.

This luncheon event is the final event of the Atlas Summit 2015 program.
