When making decisions, Objectivists and libertarians pride themselves on using logic rather than emotion. However, most individuals do not behave this way. From deciding on dinner to choosing political candidates, most people make decisions first via their gut. They often search for facts only to justify the decisions they’ve already made. Delivering ideas to the masses can often succeed better if your appeals involve humor, drama, and moral outrage. This session will use examples from pop culture and politics to demonstrate how to deliver your message more effectively by first reaching the heart of your audience.
